Meet Butool Abbas! Intelligence Personified!

Butool is a dynamic, empowered and unstoppable woman, who did her Masters in Design from IIT Kanpur and B.Arch from MSU Baroda. She saw a need for cultivating critical thinking among children and so she started a social movement called Thinkizm in 2011 to create a culture of Thinking amongst school children worldwide. She believes that given a conducive climate, every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, can thrive as an original and creative thinker.

In an increasingly chaotic and uncertain world, we must enable children to be creative and critical thinkers. It will allow children to develop their understanding, engage with their immediate environment, develop empathy, and foster curiosity. It is a window of opportunity for the system to create new notions of education beyond textbooks. It is also an opportunity to assimilate, synthesize, and apply things learned via textbooks in a real environment.

Creative confidence has been linked with increasing self-efficacy i.e. one's belief in one's ability to meet their goals. Hence that makes creative confidence one of the pillars of creating confident students.

She works both with educators and students via workshops and training programs.

She has over 15 years of design and leadership experience across various sectors.

Tripurari Kumar Sharma is an award-winning multilingual Indian author, poet, lyricist, and screenwriter. He pursued his studies in Hindi and Urdu literature at the University of Delhi. His diverse body of work includes films such as A Wedding Story and Modi Ji Ki Beti, the TV series Naam Namak Nishan, Sanyukt and Kuchh Baatein Kuchh Yaadein, and numerous singles for major music labels like T-Series, Zee Music Company, Saregama, Tips, and Indie Music Label.

In addition to his film work, Tripurari is the author of Aakhiri Ishq, North Campus, and Osak Bunn. Renowned for his soul-stirring Urdu poetry and poignant storytelling, his works have been translated into English and German. He has received notable accolades including the Himalayan Writing Fellowship, the Lit-O-Fest Best Manuscript Contest Award, and an honorable mention for the Creators of Justice Literary Award (New York). He was also shortlisted for the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Award and nominated for the Valley of Words Award and the International Writing Program, USA. His poetry was included in the Maharashtra State Board's 11th-grade Hindi textbook in 2019.
