SP CINECORP, in spite of being an emerging venture, has recognition in the Indian Film Industry after being the Producer of a blockbuster Regional film ‘Chhello Divas’ that changed the scenario of Gujarati film industry, a critically acclaimed political film ‘Buddha in a Traffic Jam’ starring Anupam Kher, Arunoday Singh, Mahi Gill & others, and the Associate Producer of a family entertainer ‘Sweetie weds NRI’, starring Darshan Jariwalla, Himansh Kohli, Zoya Afroz, Kiran Juneja & others. It has produced a political thriller ‘The Tashkent Files’, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Mandira Bedi, Vinay Pathak, and others with Vivek Agnihotri as its director. The Tashkent Files has become a surprising superhit amongst many in 2019 and it has won two accolades at the 67th National Film Awards for the categories: Best Screenplay (Dialogues) and Best Supporting Actor (Female).
