The Gujarat Titans registered a statement victory at the Narendra Modi Stadium, crushing Sunrisers Hyderabad by 82 runs in a completely one-sided encounter. After setting a target of 169, the Titans' bowling attack led by a fiery opening spell from Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada ripped through the SRH top order, leaving them reeling at 29/3 within the powerplay.

The collapse only worsened as Jason Holder (3/20) and Kagiso Rabada (3/28) consistently picked up wickets, never allowing the Hyderabad batters to settle. Sunrisers were eventually bundled out for a meager 86 in 14.5 overs, with no batter managing to cross the 20-run mark. Earlier in the day, half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan (61) and Washington Sundar (50) had rescued GT from a shaky start to reach 168/5.

In a crucial Match 56 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat Titans have posted a competitive 168/5 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. After being put in to bat by Pat Cummins, the Titans faced an early setback with Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler falling cheaply. However, Sai Sudharsan played the role of the anchor perfectly, striking a well-measured 61 off 44 balls.

The Sunrisers' bowling attack remained disciplined throughout, led by Sakib Hussain and Praful Hinge, who picked up two wickets apiece. A late cameo from Nishant Sindhu (22 off 14) and a boundary by Rahul Tewatia on the final ball pushed the total past the 160-mark. With the surface offering some help to the spinners and Rashid Khan waiting in the second innings, the Sunrisers will need a steady start to chase down 169 and keep their quest for the top spot alive.
