Recently, Monsoon Films has associated with major film production companies in Los Angeles, Paris Tokyo, Hong Kong & Bangkok. One of the toughest assignments for Monsoon Films was Pan Nalin’s critically and commercially successful film SAMSARAS, a spiritual love story, shot in the difficult and picturesque locale of Ladakh, India. It is the first film in the world to be entirely shot at an average altitude of 14000 feet. Monsoon Films co-produced second feature film by Pan Nalin – VALLEY OF FLOWERS, which was filmed in the Indian Himalayas and Japan, with Pandora Film Germany, Elzevir Films and WonderWorks France. After winning The Best Picture award at IFFLA-Los Angeles it has spread on to become a major cult hit across the globe. Other projects at Monsoon is SPEAKING TREE by award winning French artist Natasha de Betak. Speaking Tree is a feature documentary shot over the period of 5 years in the desert of Kutch, Gujarat. Together with Pandora Film Germany, Sunrise films Switzerland, Monsoon Films produced a docu-feature Ayurveda – Art of Being by Pan Nalin, which had its World Premiere in Berlin. Since then the docu-feature has received critical and commercial success worldwide, won many awards, including the Best Documentary Film at Galway Ireland and Audience Choice Award at Los Angeles USA. The film is in theatrical release worldwide and has broken some records by staying on screen for 20 months in France and 14 months in Spain. Monsoon Films co-produced Dance of the Wind, directed by Rajan Khosa. The film was premiered at the Venice International Film Festival. It received many International awards and was successfully released through out Europe. Currently Monsoon Films is in development of three high profile features: TOBA TEK SINGH a tragicomedy set agains the backdrop of partition. RECYCLE 3D an unique paranormal thriller in 3D and an epic-drama for the global market BUDDHA: The Inner Warrior
