Mr. Beast, a famous YouTuber, launched his chocolate bar range called Feastables in January 2022. Feastables was a big hit, selling over 1 million chocolate bars in just 72 hours and making over $10 million in sales in the first few months.
YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI also started their own drink brand, Prime Hydration, in January 2022. After a year, they announced that it had earned $250 million.
In the first quarter of 2023, Prime Hydration managed to capture 5.8% of the market share for sports drinks, although it's still behind big brands like Gatorade, BodyArmor, and Powerade. However, Prime's success came at the expense of these other brands, which saw a drop in market share during that period.
One key reason for Prime's popularity is the immense fame of its founders, Logan Paul and KSI, who have a combined subscriber base of over 39 million on their main YouTube channels. This popularity has undoubtedly contributed to Prime's success.
In April 2023, pop star King and Raj Shamani's House of X launched the perfume brand Blanko. House of X is a tech platform that helps creators establish their own brands. Blanko had a successful launch, making Rupees 20 lakhs and attracting 80,000 customers on the first day. In just three months, it reached a monthly revenue of Rupees 1 crore. Their future perfumes will have a unique 'time lock technology' for extended fragrance. The goal for the next two years is to achieve an annual revenue of Rupees 100 crore.
