I’ve been in good company last few days doing a Demo of the LCD-X and MM-500. I was driving it through my Apollo Twin interface. Big shoutout to the super professional team for organising this.

Music Genres Demo- Electronic (Progressive House & Tehcno), Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop

Now the urge to move in this direction has been organic. Since 2016- I had to shift my studio more than 3 times due to personal reasons which has seriously impacted my journey as a producer/ label owner. I have unfinished projects personal and for . Since my last visit to I have been trying to finish the my projects. I manage to complete the tracks but have not been satisfied with the audio output as I have been trying to work from my latest room with minimal treatment, due to which I stalled all my projects to fix this issue.

I have been using .professional CMS-50 since 2011 and they have been a serious workhorse. My last studio I built in Pune had come close to my ideal workspace but had to move again. At that point I realised, I am building more studios than making music.

I decided to find a solution to my problem which led me to these amazing professional headphones. After having read reviews & technical specifications, I was intrigued to check out the sound which major industry experts are standing behind. Especially Grammy Winner Manny Marroquin.

My experience- crystal clear, precise, amazing separation, yummy low end and forward mid range. I found what I was looking for. You can experience a performance and what the artist/ engineers behind the music are trying to express. Both the LCD-X & MM-500 have their own specialities. You got to figure out which suits you. I’m not going technical and just expressing what I felt.

They’re not cheap- but i wouldn’t quantify a piece of art by just putting a price tag. They are an experience.

Conclusion- i have decided my pair and cant wait to see how they contribute to my work going forward😎

Personal Note: I first heard this monster tune on Sasha & Digweed Communicate Disc 1 in the early 2000s and was blown away. Almost 25 years and this tune still gives me the chills and I decided to make my version of it. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting it together. You support & love means everything!

My first residency, Vie- Lounge & Deck console- my happy place. It was a time when Vinyl was fading out and been taken over by the digital formats. It’s crazy to see how it has evolved over the years. Vinyl, CD, SD Card, WAV or MP3- doesn’t matter, what matters is the passion I had, has only gotten stronger over the years. I just wish to share the importance of experiencing a Residency in one’s career. There is no bigger teacher than the dance floor and the responsibility with which a resident DJ can set the tone of the space only if he/she is backed by the right management. I have been blessed with some of the best times throughout my multiple residency’s. Time & again it feels good to look back and be grateful to move forward with humility and dedication.

Loads of new music coming- watch this space 😎

The tune Reflekt- Need To Feel Loved was one of the many top tunes from the magical era. I’m sure many of my friends who have remained with me throughout my journey will know what I’m talking about 😉

Quality Music is timeless and that’s what we are working hard to bring forth . We have not to been trying to flood releases or do events in a hurry to be relevant on social media, the idea is to be proud when we look back in future at the quality & body of work. Moonphase began in 2011 as Coalition Music with my then partner Sanjay Dutta till we went solo around 2020 and we have evolved to this stage.
