Rafael deployed in Ladakh during tension with China
Indian Air Force has deployed Rafael aircraft on LAC during the ongoing tension with China. Rafael Combat is seen doing air patrol on Leh-Ladakh. Indian Air Force fighter aircrafts are patrolling day and night on LAC near China. India had signed a contract of 36 Rafale fighter jets with France. The first batch of five of those flights have reached India, while five more flights will arrive in India next month, i.e. October.
The first batch of five Rafael fighter aircrafts from France had officially joined the Indian Air Force at Ambala Airbase on September 10 The aircraft became part of the Air Force's 17 Golden Arrows Squadron.
India's Air Force has 10 women aeroplane. Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh has become the first female aeroplane to fly Rafael fighter plane. As soon as Shivangi Singh completes conversion training, Air Force will formally enter these 17 Golden Arrows Squadron in Ambala Airbase! Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh, who has completed education from Banaras Hindu University, is from the second batch of women airlines. This batch has been commissioned in 2017
