On Independence Day, we celebrate the Indian films that have gone beyond entertainment to become powerful voices for change. 🇮🇳🎬 From questioning caste and class to challenging patriarchy, exposing social inequality, advocating education and giving a voice to those often left unheard, Indian cinema has consistently reflected the struggles and aspirations of a changing nation. These stories have made us uncomfortable, sparked conversations, challenged old beliefs and, at times, encouraged us to look at society differently. Because independence is not simply the freedom we inherited—it is also the responsibility to question what needs to change and the courage to imagine a more equal, inclusive and compassionate India. This Independence Day, celebrating the films that reminded us that cinema can do more than tell stories—it can inspire change. ❤️🇮🇳
