Our Boss Lady , in the past year inside the , has felt a bit like someone gently taking her head, giving it a shake, and saying, “Look again… look deeper.” And she did. What unfolded was transformative in a way that was needed.
For years, she’s relied on instinct - that gut-level intuition that has steered Balancing Act since 2003. This program didn’t replace that instinct; it sharpened it. It added science to her intuition, structure to her decision-making process, and clarity to the chaos that often fuels creativity. She was pushed harder than she’s been pushed in decades, and somewhere in that pressure, she found myself falling in love with Balancing Act all over again.
Divya was learning again. Trying again. Teaching again. And after twenty-one years, starting again - or at least starting anew with fresh eyes and a stronger spine.
The unexpected gift was the community. She suddenly found herself surrounded by entrepreneurs who understood the same knots, the same fires, the same impossible trade-offs. Balancing Act wasn’t alone; she wasn’t alone. We found allies, supporters, teachers… and friends. People who not only challenged but stood with her as well.
This year reopened our minds to learning - real learning - the kind that humbles you, excites you, and reminds you why you began in the first place. It has been, without question, one of the most transformative year!
And the best part is knowing the journey is just beginning.
