8 years ago, on 12 February 2018, 2 days before Valentine’s Day, I met ‘s parents for the first time. We didn’t know if we would get married. We just knew we wanted to. 8 years later, I look back at these photos. We snuck in a quiet dinner on Valentine’s Day. We even went for the Arijit Singh concert because we both wanted to win a radio concert for each other. So we entered for each other, and I won these tickets and was even invited on stage and gifted a guitar signed by Arijit himself. Life has taken us to so many places, so many corners and turns. I can’t believe it’s been 8 years! Every Valentine’s Day is special with my Pubs but the first one will hold a special place in my heart.

A few weeks ago in Bhopal, Prateek looked at me and asked, “Do you want a ring?”
Like I was going to say no.

We wandered into a few jewellers, tried on a few, and shortlisted some.
Then we slept over it—like grown-ups with feelings too big for one day.
The next morning, we went back and bought the ring.

It’s beautiful. I can’t stop staring at it.
It felt like I was engaged all over again.

Because today marks 7 years since we exchanged rings and made a promise of forever.
Thank you for being you, Pubsu. Thoughtful, kind, mine.
