CM Eknath Shinde Announced, Toll-Free Entry To Mumbai For Light Motors Vehicles From Tuesday.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced a full toll waiver today (14/10/24) for light motor vehicles at all five toll booths entering Mumbai. The rule will be implemented from 15th Oct 2024.

The decision was taken during the last cabinet meeting of the Maharashtra government which was held today.

With the latest announcement, commuters will be able to use small vehicles without paying tolls from all five toll booths, namely Dahisar, Mulund, Vashi, Airoli, and Teen-hath Naka. The toll charge for the above mentioned booths was Rs 45.

The decision, taken during the Maharashtra government’s final cabinet meeting before the upcoming Assembly elections, is set to take effect from midnight today.
