Gosumag Gosumag is the Official Annual magazine of Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital.

Gosumag encourages bright minds of GSMC to express themselves with a pen, a palette of colors or even the camera! It is a platform to display creativity in all its forms and to remind ourselves that we are more than medical students and doctors. As they say, the pen is mightier than the sword, so pen down your thoughts and make this magazine, your magazine!

What started in June 2022, is now at an end, becoming a humbling retrospect. We can't help but feel a mix of emotions.
We've laughed and cried.
We've brainstormed and even tried DIY bouquets.

Not to deny, we had a lot of hardships. Despite our problems and because of our naysayers, we set ourselves on this so-called unachievable timeline of 9 months until the evening of 24th February, 2023.
From arguing on the Gosumag artwork figurine having ?kyphosis,
To debating the magazine theme;
From weirdly declaring Kaushan as go-to font,
To knowing that either "We are Grammar N***s"
or "Illustrator is our daddy" (nope, it was Corel Draw actually)...
The list goes on.

To all our readers and followers, thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope to come back soon with yet another edition by yet another team of enthusiasts.

Here's a glimpse into the Gosumag Launch Event that was held on February 24, 2023. 💫

The event was graced by our Honourable Dean along with the Chief Guest for the evening, Dr.Urmila Thatte.

We can all agree that the moment the magazine was unrevealed for the crowds to see, would always be something to remember. ❤️

If the pen is mightier than the sword, what of our mighty brush with strokes swifter than your imagination?
What language can be a barrier between us when all our forms of expression, like the fusion of the Devanagari and English scripts here, simply meld into one? The colour the brush drips blends together our stories of every shade, only to be revealed whenever we choose to read, relate and relive.
To you, there may be nothing that captures the essence of a KEM's student more than the hunched figurine above, perusing a book. But then again, our spines droop heavy with the stories of our medical journey which no book has the strength to bear.
