Monthly Dump
Things I learnt along the way 🤷🏻‍♀️

1. Festivals are for experimenting
I had the best time playing around with food, clothes, and little traditions instead of doing the same old.

2. The right people are medicine
Honestly, being around good energy feels like therapy without the bill.

3. Love yourself in all shapes
Every version of me deserves love, whether I’m glowing, growing, or just chilling.

4. Eat right is feel right
Food really does set the vibe for my body and mood, so I’m being kinder to myself through what I eat.

5. Ayurveda is no joke
Turns out grandma’s remedies actually do work (who knew?)

6. Trees are the prettiest backdrop Nohing beats the calm of just sitting under them or staring at their beauty.

7. Bengal sari magic
Getting ready in one instantly made me feel like I was in my own festival movie.

Day 8 – Peacock Green!
Maa Mahagauri is all about elegance, renewal, and grace — the perfect excuse to drench yourself in regal peacock green!

Silk sarees with subtle pleats and pearl or gold accents for a queen-like, sophisticated look.
Structured gowns or dresses with flowing silhouettes to channel elegance effortlessly.
Flowy co-ords layered with statement jewellery — think pearls or layered gold chains for that fresh, luxe vibe.
Minimalist lovers can go for a chic peacock-green kurta with palazzos, beaded sandals, and a soft braided hairstyle.

Style Tip
Add contrasting accessories in ivory, gold, or even a hint of coral to make the green pop and give your look depth and dimension.

Who’s stepping into their queen energy today?

Day 7 is all about Kalaratri! Bold, fearless, and fiery. 🧡 Orange is the mood.

A burnt-orange co-ord instantly feels sharp and confident, while an edgy saree with a belt or a striking blouse adds a modern twist. Chunky silver or layered gold jewellery brings in strength, statement heels add power to your stride, and rich fabrics, from glowing silks to structured cottons, carry the look with presence.

This day is about stepping out unapologetic, powerful, and a little untamed.

So, how are you showing your boldest side today?

Day 6 - Grey
Grey might feel underrated, but today it’s your secret weapon. Katyayani reminds us to be brave, focused, and fierce, and grey is the perfect color to channel that quiet confidence.

Go all in on monochrome magic - think tailored grey co-ords, power blazers, or wide-legged trousers with a crisp shirt. If you’re in the mood for ethnic, drape a sleek grey saree (linen, organza, or silk) with a contrast blouse for a look that’s soft but striking. For everyday wear, a grey kurta with cigarette pants or a breezy
co-ord keeps things stylish but effortless.

Style Tip
Grey loves a little drama! So, pick one statement piece to turn heads. A bold red lip, striking black heels, or chunky oxidised earrings can completely change the vibe. Add metallic accents (silver bangles, a statement clutch, or even a belt) to give your look that subtle festive shine.

This is the day to look powerful without shouting about it. Effortless, polished, and so put-together.

Every Navratri, I go all out with colors, lehengas, and jewelry, but there’s one detail I never skip: the little black tikli dot.

Cute? Yes. But also full of history!

Traditionally made with kajal, the tikli has been part of shringar rituals for centuries and is believed to carry protective energy, keeping the spirit and joy of these nine nights alive. For me, it’s like wearing a tiny mark of Shakti; adding a playful sparkle, a touch of tradition, and a whole lot of festive magic to my look.

For me, the smallest adornment holds the deepest meaning… and the biggest vibe.

Day 5 - Green! Today’s vibe is all about slowing down and feeling good, inside and out. Skandamata reminds us to nurture ourselves, so think cozy, calming, and comfortable. 💚

Slip into a flowy green maxi, an easy-breezy kaftan, or that soft cotton saree you love, the kind that makes you feel like you. For office-goers, a crisp green kurta with straight pants or a chic co-ord set keeps you polished yet comfy all day.
Style Tip Keep it simple but special, muted gold hoops, a soft embroidered dupatta, maybe a pair of pearl studs. Go for fresh skin, a little kohl, glossy lips, and slide into comfy juttis or strappy flats. Effortless, but so put-together.
