In July 2016, Delhi witnessed one of its most chilling and tragic murder cases — the Ved Prakash Kirodiwal Family Murder. What police first thought was an honour killing soon turned out to be a horrifying tale of greed, betrayal and revenge. A happy, middle-class family from Wazirabad, North Delhi — Ved Prakash Kirodiwal, his wife Sadhna, son Shubham and daughter Naina — was wiped out in just one day. Four innocent lives lost because of money, deceit and the darkness hidden behind familiar faces.

Ved Prakash was a hardworking businessman and financier preparing for his daughter Naina’s wedding. But the people he trusted most — his own employee Ritesh Katiyar, his nephew Sonu, and family friend Abhishek Pal — were plotting his death. The reason? A ₹9 lakh loan, failed business, and the greed for property. On 15 July 2016, one by one, Ved Prakash, his son, wife and daughter were strangled with a clutch wire. Their bodies were hidden in his Santro car and later dumped in the Upper Ganga Canal, Hapur.

When Naina’s body surfaced the next morning, the police misread the entire case as an honour killing, registering Ved Prakash and his family as accused instead of victims. For two long years, the real killers roamed free while the truth remained buried.

Everything changed when, two years later, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch got a tip from an informer. Abhishek Pal, drunk at a party, had started bragging — boasting that he had killed an entire family and gotten away with it. That careless confession led investigators to reopen the cold case, exposing the full conspiracy. Ritesh had already committed su***de, the juvenile Mannu died in an accident, and finally Abhishek Pal and Sonu were arrested.

The Kirodiwal family finally got justice — even if posthumously. This case shows how greed can destroy lives, how truth always resurfaces, and how karma finds everyone.

This video highlights three mind-blowing facts that challenge our common perceptions: first, that Russia's surface area is larger than Pluto’s; second, that sharks have existed on Earth for 100 million years longer than trees; and finally, that the DNA in a human body, if stretched out, would reach from the Sun to Pluto and back. It’s a fascinating dive into the sheer scale of the universe and the biological wonders within us!

The Platypus is widely regarded as one of nature’s most mysterious and biologically unique creatures, often described by scientists as a "puzzle" because it shares characteristics with birds, reptiles, and mammals. Native to Australia, this fascinating animal features a duck-like bill, a beaver-like tail, and otter-like feet, but what truly sets it apart is that it is a monotreme—a mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth to live young. They possess a specialized sensory system called electroreception in their bills, allowing them to hunt underwater with their eyes closed by detecting the electrical signals of their prey. Interestingly, male platypuses are also venomous, equipped with sharp spurs on their hind legs that can deliver a painful toxin.

The story of Kalua, a notorious monkey from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, is a chilling example of how environment and upbringing can impact animal behavior. Raised by a local occultist who reportedly fed him meat and alcohol, Kalua became exceptionally aggressive and violent. Following the death of his owner, the monkey went on a rampage, attacking over 250 people and causing severe injuries, particularly to children. His reign of terror led the Forest Department to capture him after several attempts. Due to his relentless hostility and refusal to integrate with other monkeys, authorities deemed him too dangerous for release, eventually sentencing him to life imprisonment in a solitary cage at the Kanpur Zoo to ensure public safety.

Lake Natron in Tanzania is famous for its striking red color and extreme conditions. With a pH level as high as 12, its water is highly alkaline and can burn the skin and eyes of many animals. This high alkalinity is due to the presence of sodium carbonate and other minerals from volcanic ash. Despite its harsh environment, it's a vital breeding ground for thousands of flamingos, whose skin is tough enough to withstand the alkaline water. Interestingly, the lake's chemistry can preserve the bodies of animals that die there, calcifying them into stone-like statues.

Russian cosmonauts historically carried the TP-82, a specialized triple-barreled pistol, not for space battles, but for survival upon their return to Earth. Since Soviet spacecraft often landed in the remote, predator-filled Siberian wilderness, the weapon was designed to protect crews from bears and wolves while they awaited rescue. The versatile firearm featured two smoothbore barrels for shot shells and a rifled barrel for 5.45mm ammunition, with a detachable stock that doubled as a machete. Although it was retired in 2007 due to ammunition becoming obsolete, the TP-82 remains a legendary piece of space history, highlighting the extreme survival challenges of early interstellar travel.

n 1963, a man in Turkey made a world-altering discovery all because of his disappearing chickens. After noticing his poultry vanishing through a crack in his basement wall, he knocked it down to find a tunnel that led to the ancient underground city of Derinkuyu. Carved into soft volcanic rock, this massive subterranean complex descends 18 stories (about 280 feet) and was once home to nearly 20,000 people. It featured sophisticated engineering, including ventilation shafts, schools, churches, and massive stone doors designed to protect early Christians from invaders.

While many people consider blue or green eyes to be more attractive or "cool," brown eyes are scientifically proven to be more resilient and powerful. The secret lies in a higher concentration of melanin, which acts as a natural protective shield against the sun's harsh UV rays and strengthens the iris. Consequently, people with lighter eyes tend to be more sensitive to light and may face more difficulties during night driving or recovery from eye surgeries. Ultimately, brown eyes offer better reaction times and superior natural protection, making them the "best" from a biological standpoint.

Absolutely! It’s terrifying to think about, but knowing what to do if your car ends up in the water can truly be a lifesaver. The video highlights that you shouldn't try to open the door right away because the external water pressure makes it nearly impossible. Instead, focus on the windows—roll them down immediately or use a sharp object to break the glass at the corners, as the center is the strongest point. If all else fails, you actually have to wait for the car to fill with water; once the pressure inside and outside equalizes, you'll be able to open the door and swim to safety.
