Asia’s Largest International Airport Faces Slower Ramp-Up Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty✈️

Zurich Airport Ltd said in its latest investor presentation that Noida International Airport could experience a slower-than-expected ramp-up because of the challenging geopolitical environment.

The company said near-term performance remains subject to elevated uncertainty, although it expects the airport’s route network to continue expanding. International services are expected to follow as the operation develops.

During the approach to JFK, the aircraft was established for the ILS approach to Runway 22L and was instructed by the Approach controller to maintain 180 knots and then contact Kennedy Tower on 119.1.

The crew responded with Unable before changing to the Tower frequency. The controller then attempted several times to determine what speed the aircraft could maintain.

The recorded communications show the controller asking the crew to state their achievable speed, followed by calls asking whether they were still listening. The crew did not respond before contacting Kennedy Tower.

British Airways A350 Struck by Ambilift in Barbados, Grounded for 9 Days✈️

British Airways (BA) was forced to keep an Airbus A350-1000 on the ground in Barbados for nine days after a ground-handling vehicle damaged the aircraft shortly after it arrived at Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI).

The incident involved an ambulift striking the aircraft and puncturing part of its composite belly fairing.

The affected aircraft, registered G-XWBK, had operated British Airways flight BA255 from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Bridgetown on August 18, 2026.

Flight-tracking data confirms that the A350-1000 arrived in Barbados that afternoon, but it did not return to service until August 27 after repairs were completed. G-XWBK landed at Bridgetown at around 2:47 p.m. local time after completing the transatlantic flight from London.

Singapore Airlines Crew Saves Passenger After His Heart Stops Before Takeoff, Wins Award🤵🏻‍♀️

Chief stewardess Serene Koh, leading steward Idris Abu, and inflight manager Kueh Joo Tong were among 29 individuals and teams recognized at Singapore Airlines’ CEO Service Excellence Awards in Singapore.

Koh, 48, and Kueh, 57, were honoured for their response to the medical emergency. Abu also played a key role in moving the passenger and supporting the initial resuscitation effort.

The incident occurred on 13 October 2025, shortly before the aircraft was scheduled to leave Barcelona for Singapore. A cabin crew member alerted Koh that a passenger had become unconscious. She found the 71-year-old man unresponsive, without a pulse and not breathing.

Koh and Abu moved the passenger onto the aircraft floor and began CPR. Koh then asked Kueh to bring medical equipment, including an automated external defibrillator.

Air India Seeks $1.5 Billion From Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, Why?✈️

Ethan Watts, 28, said cabin crew asked him and three other passengers to help restrain a man who was allegedly behaving violently during the flight.

Watts said the passenger was swearing, kicking people and threatening those around him. The situation escalated after the passenger allegedly broke free while crew members attempted to move him, prompting passengers to help tackle him further along the aircraft.

The airline’s revised offer followed News24.com.au’s report detailing the couple’s attempts to have their experience acknowledged after the flight.

Etihad initially offered either 5,000 Guest Miles or a US$50 credit voucher before contacting the passengers again after the report was published.
