Morning Mist Covers Ghatkopar as Humidity Triggers Fog Across Mumbai Region 🌫️

Residents of Ghatkopar woke up to misty conditions this morning as a blanket of shallow fog covered parts of Mumbai and the MMR region. According to weather observations, the haze is not pollution but a result of very high humidity levels.

A sharp rise in humidity due to westerly winds caused the dew point to match the air temperature, with the atmosphere reaching around 99% humidity. These conditions allowed moisture in the air to condense, forming mist and shallow fog across several areas.

Satellite imagery has also indicated dense fog patches over Ratnagiri and Raigad, suggesting similar weather conditions across parts of the Konkan region.

The video shows the foggy morning visuals from Ghatkopar, where visibility was slightly reduced as the city experienced this natural weather phenomenon. 🌫️🌥️
