Turtuk village,ladakh 🏔️🇮🇳

Before the 1971 Indo-Pak war, Turtuk, Tyakshi, Chalunka and Thang were under Pakistani control. During the war, these four villages came under Indian control and have been part of India ever since.

Today, Thang stands near the India–Pakistan border, surrounded by the mountains of Ladakh. 🏔️

A beautiful place, peaceful people, and a history you can actually feel while standing there. ❤️
