What an iconic landmark!

Here's a brief history about Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds) -
It's a five storey building, the tallest building in the world to have been built without a foundation. It is windy inside owing to the numerous windows and jharokhas. The main purpose was to allow the ladies and royal family to observe the busy streets of Johari Bazaar without being seen themselves.

The Hawa Mahal is dedicated to Lard Krishna, it's said that the shape of the building resembles the crown of Krishna. One of the best cultural and architectural marvels of our nation. ❤️

Hey you!! Just adding some pretty colors to your feed. 🎨😌

Patrika Gate is the entrance to the Jawahar Circle Park and is one of the most photographed spots in India! Every gate is uniquely painted with different colours showcasing new creativity. These intricate carvings and shades symbolise the Rajasthani culture.

It is considered as a must visit tourist attraction in Jaipur now and it's very close to the airport so you can make a quick 15-20 minute stop here before heading to catch your flight.

It's free, which also means that you'll find a lot of crowd and many people doing pre wedding photoshoots with their army of photographers.
The amount of times I had to move so a couple could take their sweet cheesy photograph. Ugh 🙄
