✨ The bar that vanishes in 100 days

Mahalaxmi’s best-kept secret is finally stepping into the spotlight. PORT Kitchen & Bar - a nine-year hidden gem tucked inside the G5A arts district - has a brand-new liquor license and a brand-new alter ego.

For the next 100 days only, PORT transforms into One More Round, a cocktail-led pop-up created in collaboration with Eateratti (the duo behind some of the city’s most irreverent food and drink ideas).

This isn’t your typical speakeasy. Each menu drops like a new chapter, drawing on mood, memory, and seasonal expression - cocktails that feel referential, playful, and just a little indulgent. Think Japanese whisky with nori and miso, a jalapeño-laced vodka passionfruit number, or a late-night coffee liqueur that winks at South Bombay nostalgia.

It’s the kind of place that disappears just as it hits its stride — a pop-up cocktail room in Mumbai you’ll either experience now or only hear about later.

Some stories circle back home.

Eleven years after The Nutcracker gave Kala Ghoda its all-day breakfast comfort, its sibling lands right next door.

Here, sourdough doesn’t just sit on the side — it anchors the menu. Cream cheese comes in jars you’ll want in your fridge. And desserts curated & designed specially for Noa by Chef Prateek Bhaktiani blur the line between nostalgia and invention.

Coffee for the loyalists, matcha for the curious.
But mostly — a new café ritual for Kala Ghoda.

It’s not every day that five Italian chefs, each a master of their region, cook under one roof in Mumbai. At La Fiera Italiana (23–24 August, Celini Grand Hyatt Mumbai ), you’ll taste Italy like never before – black truffle-stuffed zucchini flowers from Liguria, roasted lamb saddle from Abruzzo, San Marzano pasta from Campania, and more.

On 23rd August, the six-course lunch and dinner bring a plated tour of Italy. On 24th August, the Grand Italian Col-Pranzo Brunch turns the table into a feast – think antipasti, cheeses, wood-fired pizzas, risottos, grilled seafood, and a dessert bar starring tiramisu, cannoli, and house-made gelato.

Here’s what a perfect Sunday looks like in Bandra: spicy picantes on repeat, purple dim sums on your plate, the music just loud enough to feel alive, and a crowd that’s here for it all.

’s Bottomless Picante Brunch isn’t a brunch. It’s a scene. One that serves up unlimited drinks—yes, espresso martinis, sangrias, whiskey sours, wines, gins, and the iconic Picante—alongside a food menu that changes weekly but never misses.

I went last weekend, thinking I’d just stay for a round. I stayed for three hours. Because how do you leave a brunch that keeps bringing more?
