We train day and night, and a lot of the work happens far away from the moments people usually see.

Today that means a high-desert training area in southern California, with rocky ground, dry brush, mountain ridges, temporary tents and military vehicles surrounding the team.

Every location changes the experience.

Heat changes how you move.

Dust changes the environment.

Rough terrain changes how you carry your gear.

And throughout all of it, the team still has to stay focused and work together.

That’s the reality of field training—less about looking impressive, and more about being prepared for whatever comes next.

What would you want to see next: training, teamwork, food, travel, weather, or field camp life?

Right before a major training event, there’s a quieter moment most people never get to see—the preparation. 🇺🇸

Every strap, buckle, and piece of equipment matters before anyone ever leaves the ground.

Would you trust yourself to go through this kind of preparation for an airborne training day?

This is the side of Army life most people never see in the highlight photos. 🇺🇸

Before the vehicles move, somebody has to make sure every little detail is right.

Would you rather work with the vehicles or be out in the field with the unit?

From down here, the mountain looks beautiful. From up there, the mission looks completely different. 🏔️🇺🇸

I wonder how many people could handle a full day of training in terrain like this without giving up.

Would you take the mountain route or stay at base? Tell me below. 👇

The sun is barely up, but the whole unit is already moving. And there’s something about seeing everyone start the day together that hits differently. 🇺🇸

Would you actually enjoy starting your morning with a group run like this, or would you need your coffee first? 😄

Be honest—what would you choose?

Most people notice the helicopter first… but look a little closer at what’s happening around it. 🇺🇸

Everyone has a job. Everyone is moving. And somehow, the whole team has to work like one.

If you were part of this crew, would you rather handle the equipment or ride in the helicopter? 👇

Come along for another day of Army life—but this time, we’re training in the hills of northern England.

The weather is cold, the ground is muddy, and the fog is covering parts of the landscape.

Somewhere in the distance, our temporary field camp is waiting, while the team continues moving through the training area.

This is the side of military life that doesn’t always make it into the highlight reels.

A lot of it is simply adapting.

Adapting to the weather.

Adapting to the terrain.

Adapting to the schedule.

And learning how to keep working together no matter where the training takes you.

That’s why every location feels like a completely different experience.

Would you follow along for a full week of training somewhere like this?

After hours outside, even a simple meal can feel like a reward.

Today we’re eating at a temporary field dining facility surrounded by Georgia pine trees and a busy training camp.

People are moving through the tents, field cooks are working, teammates are catching up, and for a few minutes the pace feels a little slower.

That’s another side of military life people rarely see.

Not every memorable moment happens during training.

Sometimes it happens around a folding table, sharing food with the people you’ve been working beside all day.

And honestly, those little moments can make a long day feel a lot better.

Would you rather eat in a field tent like this or at a regular military dining facility?

Some of the strongest parts of military life don’t happen during the big training moments.

They happen around the field camp.

Someone helps with your gear. Someone checks if you’re okay. Someone makes you laugh when the day has been exhausting.

Today we’re surrounded by Appalachian forest and mountains, but honestly, I’m paying more attention to the people around me.

Because when you spend long days training, traveling, working, and adapting to different environments together, friendships can become something much deeper.

That’s the part of Army life I want people to see too.

Not just the uniform.

The people wearing it.

Would you trust your teammates like family?

Would you actually approach me if you saw me here?

There’s something different about being around a military airfield.

You can hear the aircraft, see the equipment being prepared, watch teammates moving around, and suddenly realize that the next part of the mission could mean going somewhere completely different.

That’s one reason I like documenting these everyday moments.

Not every military day is about running or weapons training. Sometimes it’s travel, preparation, teamwork, waiting, moving gear, and getting ready for whatever comes next.

And sometimes you get a pretty impressive helicopter sitting right behind you while you talk to your followers.

Yes or no—would you come say hello?
