I’ve noticed something strange about interior designers.
Many of them are scared of paid advertising.
Some never try it because they’re afraid of wasting money.
Some try it for 10–15 days, don’t get the projects they expected, and immediately say:
“Facebook Ads don't work.”
Then they go back to referrals.
Waiting.
Following up with old contacts.
Hoping the next big project comes from somewhere.
But here’s the uncomfortable part…
The same platform they blame is generating high-ticket projects every single month for their competitors.
Same Meta.
Same cities.
Same audience.
Same advertising platform.
So what changed?
Not the platform.
The system behind the advertising.
Your competitor didn't discover some secret Facebook button.
They simply kept improving:
The offer.
The creative.
The targeting.
The qualification.
The follow-up.
The sales process.
And most importantly…
They stayed in the game long enough to learn what works.
This is where many businesses get stuck.
They don't want to completely depend on referrals.
But they also don't want to invest enough time and money into building a predictable acquisition system.
They stay somewhere in the middle.
Not moving forward.
Not building a system.
Just hoping.
And hoping is not a client acquisition strategy.
Paid ads don't need to be treated like gambling.
They should be treated like a business system that you test, measure, improve and scale.
You don't need to believe that ads will work.
You need to be willing to test properly.
Because while you're still wondering whether paid ads work…
Someone in your market is already using them to win the projects you're trying to get.
If you're an interior designer doing good work but still depending heavily on referrals for your next project, DM me “ADS”.
Let's see whether paid acquisition actually makes sense for your business.
