*RGUHS Tableau won Second Prize at Mysuru Dasara procession*
Bengaluru, Oct 04, 2025: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) secured Second Prize at the iconic Mysuru Dasara Jambu Savari procession, marking a proud moment in the University's history.
In the Boards, Corporations and Central/State government category, the second prize came to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for its drug-free campus campaign.
For the first time, RGUHS presented a striking tableau themed Healthy Minds, Drug-Free Campuses, reinforcing its commitment to creating substance-free educational environments across Karnataka.
This initiative aligns with the national mission of Nasha Mukt Bharat and reflects the University’s ongoing efforts to foster well-being and prevent substance abuse among students. As part of this mission, RGUHS has mandated all affiliated colleges to establish vigilance committees, conduct awareness programs, and promote wellness activities — including yoga — to manage stress and discourage substance misuse.
