Sweetlings is a charity project for caring for children with type 1 diabetes who belong to the underprivileged families. The project works to provide holistic care for children with Type 1 Diabetes. It started at Pune 15 yrs back and now it has two more branches at Nagpur & Kolhapur. Here we share one such story from our centre at Nagpur.

We were fortunate to have Dr Anuradha Khadilkar mam (authority in Pediatric Bone disorders, Pediatric Diabetes and Public health work in Children) visiting our centre of excellence in Pediatric Endocrinology and diabetes with her team. They were happy and impressed with the facilities and services provided by us in Nagpur trying to help children in the Vidarbha area. Further discussions were held with respect to the scope of research in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in our region. We Thank them for giving us their time with an attitude to improve the care in Pediatric Endocrinology in this part of our country.
Dr Anuradha Khadilkar mam has more than 300 publications under her belt with respect to Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
She has been a major driving force for making IAP growth charts, Vitamin D guidelines along with Vaman Khadilkar sir.
She has established many normograms in anthropology, bone parameters in DXA, pqct and many more
Her most recent area of work is on normative data in bone age among Indian children.
