Veggie Wizdom: Prakriti + Sanskriti = Pragati

Suraj and Rajni, two close friends, spend their weekends following the wise old Shastri Master in their neighborhood. Through charming activities, Shastri Master shows them the wonders of the Margosa (Neem) tree: its healing leaves, cool shade, and pure air. The children affectionately name the tree “Neemo,” making it the heart of their friendship and learning.

Tragedy strikes with the passing of Shastri Master due to old age. Seizing this opportunity, a greedy, corrupt businessman—Adv. Bhushvanna Naidu—acquires the property. For commercial expansion, he plots to illegally cut down the grand Neemo tree. Suraj and Rajni bravely mobilize their community to protest, petition, and save the tree, but are ultimately defeated by the might of money and authority.

On the final stormy night, as municipal officials and workers prepare to fell Neemo, a wild thunderstorm erupts. Lightning strikes powerfully—Neemo absorbs the massive charge, then miraculously saves Adv. Bhushvanna Naidu’s life as lightning would have hit his car directly.

A climax of events to enchant, entangle and emotionally entice every kid and adult as an environmentalist, championing the cause of saving trees, and spreading compassion and respect for nature throughout the neighborhood.
