MEMORANDUM SUBMITTED BY AKKDSU

The All Kurung Kumey District Students’ Union (AKKDSU) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, urging the immediate posting of vacant Head of Departments (HODs) and staff across multiple departments in Kurung Kumey District.

The union expressed deep concern over the delay, stating that several key posts remain vacant since 2022, severely affecting governance and public service delivery. As per the DC’s report, one officer is handling additional charges of 6–7 posts due to lack of regular appointments, resulting in major administrative challenges.

Alert: Extremely Poor Road Conditions on Sarli to Milli PMGSY Route. || Kurung Kumey District. (AP)

The current condition of the Sarli to Milli PMGSY road is in a highly deteriorated and dangerous state, posing serious risks to commuters and local residents. Deep potholes, landslide-prone zones, and lack of proper maintenance have made the stretch extremely difficult and unsafe to travel.

Despite repeated appeals from the public, no visible action has been taken to repair or improve the road condition. The lack of proper drainage and erosion control measures adds to the risk, especially during rainy weather, making travel life-threatening at times.

Residents, travelers, and emergency services are facing daily hardship and delays. The road not only connects remote villages but is also vital for transporting essentials, medical aid, and students commuting to schools.

ANSU Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to APSSB Over Constable GD & IRBn Exam 2025 Results

The All Nyishi Students' Union (ANSU) has officially submitted a 15-day final ultimatum to the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), demanding urgent redressal of key issues surrounding the Constable GD (Civil Police) and IRBn Examination 2025 results.

In the official letter addressed to the Chairman of APSSB and duly copied to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble Home Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, ANSU raised serious concerns regarding:

1️⃣ Immediate Release of OMR Sheets & Answer Keys for transparency and candidate verification.
2️⃣ Complete Filling of All 426 Vacancies as per official advertisement, without any reduction.
3️⃣ One-Time Chance Relaxation for deserving left-out candidates who were negatively affected by discrepancies.

ANSU highlighted irregularities in the recruitment process, unexpected difficulty levels in question papers, and lack of transparency in the evaluation process. Despite multiple representations and detailed submissions, no satisfactory response has been received from the board so far.

ANSU has warned that failure to address these demands within the given 15-day timeframe will lead to democratic agitation in the form of Statewide Bandh Calls, General Strikes, and mass protests.
