🌿 Five Years of The Artisans’ Movement. Looking Ahead. 🙏
Today, we had the privilege of meeting Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu ji to share the journey of The Artisans’ Movement and discuss our plans for the upcoming 6th Arunachal Fashion Week.
It was inspiring to discuss the vision for unifying Arunachal’s fashion and textile fraternity. Hon’ble Chief Minister highlighted the importance of bringing together all key stakeholders—organizers, designers, weavers, sericulture farmers, fashion practitioners, and artisans—to work collaboratively as one creative ecosystem.
The goal is to strengthen the entire value chain: connecting the roots to the runway, and taking Arunachal’s rich heritage and craftsmanship to the global stage. It is about honoring tradition, empowering local talent, and creating meaningful opportunities for everyone involved in this space. 🧵✨
Over the past five years, The Artisans’ Movement has grown with a deep commitment to indigenous textiles and cultural preservation. The guidance and encouragement from Hon’ble CM Shri Pema Khandu ji continue to provide valuable momentum as we step into this next phase.
Today’s discussion opens a new chapter of fraternity-wide collaboration and collective growth.
The 6th Arunachal Fashion Week — dates to be announced soon. 🙏🌿🧵
