Virtually attended the launch of the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana and the inauguration/foundation stone laying of various key schemes and projects of the Government of India by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji today.

During the event, the Prime Minister launched PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana and a six-year Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, aimed at boosting self-reliance in agriculture. He also inaugurated numerous projects dedicated to the nation under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Animal Husbandry and Food Processing Industries.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister distributed certificates to a group of farmers practicing natural farming, certified MAITRI technicians, and PACS institutions that have successfully transitioned into PMKSKs and CSCs.

The event also marked the celebration of major achievements and initiatives which reflects the government’s continued commitment to strengthening India’s agricultural ecosystem and empowering rural communities.

सिक्किमका दोस्रो मुख्यमन्त्री तथा महान् जनप्रिय नेता स्वर्गीय श्री नर बहादुर भण्डारीज्यूको जन्मदिनको यस पावन अवसरमा, उहाँलाई श्रद्धापूर्वक स्मरण गर्दै, सिक्किम सरकार र सम्पूर्ण सिक्किमेली जनसमुदायको तर्फबाट साथै मेरो परिवार र व्यक्तिगत तर्फबाट हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली अर्पण गर्दछु।

पश्चिम सिक्किमको मालबाँसे, सोरङ्गमा जन्मनु भएका आदरणीय भण्डारीज्यूले आफ्नो जीवन शिक्षण पेशाबाट प्रारम्भ गरी पछि पूर्ण रूपमा जनसेवामा समर्पित गर्नुभयो। सन् १९७९ मा पहिलो पटक सिक्किमका मुख्यमन्त्री निर्वाचित भई लगातार १४ वर्षसम्म राज्यको बागडोर सम्हाल्दै उहाँले सिक्किमलाई राजनीतिक स्थिरताको आधारमा शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, कृषि, पर्यटन, पूर्वाधार र ग्रामीण विकासमा उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धिहरू दिलाउनुभयो।

उहाँको सर्वाधिक ऐतिहासिक योगदान भनेको नेपाली भाषालाई भारतीय संविधानको आठौँ अनुसूचीमा समावेश गराउनु हो, जसले सम्पूर्ण भारतीय नेपाली भाषाभाषी समुदायलाई गौरवान्वित तुल्याएको छ। साथै, किसान, मजदुर, शिक्षक, कर्मचारी तथा वञ्चित वर्गका अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्दै उहाँले समाजमा समानता र न्यायको जग बसाल्नुभयो।

भण्डारीज्यू केवल सिक्किमकै नभई सम्पूर्ण भारतीय नेपाली समाजका गौरवका प्रतिमूर्ति हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँको आदर्श, दृढ संकल्प र जनसेवाप्रतिको निष्ठा हाम्रो लागि प्रेरणाको शाश्वत स्रोत बनेर रहनेछ।

सरकार गठनपश्चात् हाम्रो पार्टीले उहाँको अद्वितीय योगदानलाई सम्मान गर्न प्रत्येक वर्ष ५ अक्टोबरलाई सार्वजनिक बिदाको रूपमा घोषणा गरी उहाँको जन्मदिवसलाई धूमधामका साथ मनाउने परम्परा स्थापित गरेको छ। आधुनिक सिक्किमका निर्माता, नेपाली भाषा आन्दोलनका मुख्य नायक तथा लोकप्रिय जननेता स्वर्गीय भण्डारीज्यूप्रति यो सम्मान हाम्रो तर्फबाट अर्पित अमूल्य श्रद्धाञ्जली हो।

म केवल ११ बर्षको हुँदा उहाँलाई मैले मुख्यमन्त्रीको रुपमा देखेको हुनाले म उहाँलाई मेरो आदर्श मानेर, मार्गदर्शक मानेर, उहाँले देखाउनु भएको मार्गको अनुसरण गर्दैछु। उहाँले जनहितको निम्ति सोचेका कुराहरू एकएक पूर्ण गर्ने प्रयास हामी गर्दैछौं। "म मरेपनी मेरो जन्मभूमि सिक्किम बाँचिरहोस" भन्ने उहाँको प्रेरणादायी वाणी हाम्रो हृदय स्पन्दनमा सधैं गुन्जिरहेको हुन्छ।
यस पावन अवसरमा, हामी सबैले उहाँको योगदानलाई स्मरण गर्दै सिक्किमलाई अझ सबल, समृद्ध र प्रगतिशील बनाउन उहाँका आदर्शलाई आत्मसात गर्ने प्रतिज्ञा गरौँ भनी सबैमा हार्दिक आह्वान गर्न चाहन्छु।

HCM PS Golay Joins 50th Raising Day Celebration of Sikkim Armed Police at Pangthang

Gangtok, September 25 | Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay on Thursday joined the grand celebration of the 50th Raising Day of the Sikkim Armed Police (SAP) at Pangthang. The golden jubilee marked a proud milestone, honouring the dedication, discipline, and service of the force in maintaining peace and law and order in the state.

Extending heartfelt congratulations to the SAP fraternity, the Chief Minister lauded their exemplary service and devotion to duty, which he described as a source of immense pride and inspiration for Sikkim and the Sikkim Police.

Addressing the gathering, CM Golay reiterated the government’s commitment towards the welfare of the police force. He assured timely promotions, better facilities, and greater opportunities for personnel, while also announcing the construction of family quarters to improve the living conditions of police personnel and their families.

“With great pride, I affirm that the Sikkim Armed Police is among the most disciplined and smart police forces in the country. May they continue to serve with zeal, honour, and integrity for years to come,” he said.

The event was marked with enthusiasm, paying rich tribute to five decades of service by the SAP in safeguarding the people of Sikkim.
