CBI Recreates Twisha Sharma Death Scene with Dummy to Verify Key Claims

Bhopal, June 1: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into the death of model and actor Twisha Sharma by conducting a detailed crime scene reconstruction at the residence of retired judge Giribala Singh in Bhopal.

Investigators used an 80-kg life-sized dummy, along with a noose, belt, and other materials, to recreate the circumstances surrounding Sharma's death on May 12. The exercise was aimed at testing the accuracy of statements provided by her husband, Samarth Singh, and Giribala Singh regarding how her body was allegedly brought down after she was found hanging.

According to investigators, Samarth Singh claimed he removed Sharma from the noose, while Giribala Singh reportedly untied the knot around her neck. The reconstruction is expected to help determine whether these accounts align with the physical evidence and the layout of the house.

Security was tightened around the property during the operation as CBI officials continued collecting evidence and questioning individuals linked to the case. Investigators are also reviewing newly acquired video footage and other material as part of the ongoing inquiry.

The high-profile case was transferred from local police to the CBI following Supreme Court intervention amid allegations of dowry harassment, suspected foul play, and concerns over the initial investigation.
