Report on Swachhata Pakhwada Day - 2 as well as SEWA PAKHWADA day-1
Melli Gumpa Senior Secondary School in collaboration with NSS Unit conducted a mass cleanliness drive was organized in our school on [17/09/2025] under the guidance of the Principal and teachers. The main objective of this drive was to ensure a hygienic and healthy environment for students and staff.
Likewise, Sewa Pakhwada was organised highlighting Mahatma Gandhi’s call for cleanliness. This campaign was commended celebrating birthday of hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Damodar Modi.
As part of the campaigns,
*the school toilets were thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
*The water tanks were emptied, scrubbed, and refilled with fresh water to ensure safe drinking water for all.
*The Mid-Day Meal (MDM) kitchen was cleaned properly, and utensils were washed and arranged neatly to maintain hygiene standards.
Students, teachers, and non-teaching staff actively participated in this drive. They not only cleaned but also spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness in daily life.
This initiative helped in creating a clean and healthy atmosphere in the school and motivated everyone to maintain cleanliness.
