Lingmoo, Namchi: Grace United Christian Organisation, Lingmoo, Lingee, Namchi District, organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the Lingmoo Health & Wellness Centre (HWC), bringing together community members and volunteers in support of life-saving healthcare services.

The camp witnessed participation from pastors, elders, church leaders, volunteers, healthcare workers and local residents, who came forward to contribute towards the cause of voluntary blood donation.

The organisers expressed gratitude to the staff of Lingmoo HWC, the Blood Bank of District Hospital Singtam, Voluntary Blood Donors Association of Sikkim (VBDAS), Panchayat President of Kolthang Tokday GPU, Lingmoo Outpost and all blood donors and supporters for their contribution to the successful conduct of the camp.

The organisation highlighted that voluntary blood donation plays an important role in ensuring the availability of blood for patients requiring transfusion during medical emergencies, surgeries and other critical situations.

The camp also served as an opportunity to encourage greater awareness and community participation in regular blood donation.

The organisers called upon people to continue supporting voluntary blood donation initiatives and contribute towards strengthening the availability of blood for those in need.
