APMWS Files FIR Over Attack on News1 Today Office

Itanagar, June 25, 2025 — The Arunachal Press Media Welfare Society (APMWS) has filed an FIR after unidentified miscreants attacked the News1 Today | Awadh TV office at BB Plaza on June 24.

The attackers allegedly assaulted the Editor-in-Chief, issued death threats, and looted a laptop, CCTV DVR, and gold chain.

APMWS condemned the incident as a grave attack on press freedom and urged police to take swift action.
