NAMSAI UPDATE NEWS :
In a major enforcement action, the Enforcement Directorate has intensified its crackdown on an
illegal liquor smuggling network operating across Arunachal Pradesh.

According to official sources, coordinated search operations were carried out simultaneously in multiple locations including Namsai, Itanagar, Ziro, Roing, Daporijo, and Seppa. The raids exposed a well-organized network involved in the distribution and circulation of illicit liquor in the region.

During the operation, officials seized cash amounting to ₹40 lakh and recovered 14 counterfeit seals, which are suspected to have been used in illegal packaging and distribution. The findings point towards a structured and large-scale smuggling racket with possible links extending beyond the state.

Authorities have stated that the investigation is currently underway, and further action is expected in the coming days. More arrests and seizures may follow as agencies continue to track down individuals involved in the network.

This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of enforcement agencies to curb illegal activities and maintain law and order in the region.
