The school would like to congratulate our boys football team for showing absolute grit and determination at such a tender young age.

Despite being an open mens football tournament in the 79th independence day celebration at our school we believed that our boys should be given the exposure considering their talent and hardwork as our school has always believed in nurturing students to their full potential 💪

We walked in the field with 100% students team and though the result didn't end up in our favour we believe that our boys did us proud by putting up an exceptional performance.

The school would also like to thank our teachers for the constant guidance and support for our boys ⭐⭐⭐

NST(Namthang School Staff team) as the name clearly indicates is a team of sports enthusiastic teaching and non teaching staff of our school.
Since its formation in 2022 it has clearly been a means to connect with our fellow staffs and strengthen our bonds.
The team has been playing friendly matches with other school staffs for a long time and had also organised an Inter -School Staff Football Tournament last year which turned out to be a huge success.

This year NST also got a chance to participate in the 79th independence day open football tournament and what started as a small staff team to join the tournament became a huge source of motivation and joy for our school as everyone came forward to support and cheer them showing our bond as a family.

Unfortunately, NST lost in the quarterfinals after a heavily fought match.

But nevertheless the spirit and the bond that NST has brought in our school will live on forever ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Har Ghar Tiranga – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Bal Krishna Kasaju Senior Secondary School, Namthang

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Bal Krishna Kasaju Senior Secondary School, Namthang, organised a series of activities from 11th to 15th August 2025 to instil patriotism, unity, and respect for our national flag among students.

The celebrations commenced on 11th August with an enthusiastic Peace Rally, where students, holding the Tricolour high, marched through the local streets raising slogans of unity, peace, and national pride. The rally reflected the deep commitment of our young learners towards the ideals of freedom and harmony.

On 12th August, the school hosted a vibrant Rangoli Competition, where students showcased their artistic skills by creating beautiful Tricolour-themed designs, symbolising the spirit of India. The creativity and dedication of the participants added a festive charm to the event.

13th and 14th August were marked by creative and engaging activities. The primary section participated in Art and Craft sessions, making paper flags, flag badges, and Tricolour decorations, while students and teachers together prepared an attractive Photo Booth adorned with the colours of the national flag and Independence Day motifs, creating a perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of the celebrations.

On 15th August, our respected Principal, Mrs. Udshoni Khatiwara, proudly hoisted the national flag, instilling in everyone the values of nationalism and patriotism. This was followed by short and inspiring video-recorded messages by the Principal, Vice Principals, and teachers, highlighting the importance of the day and reminding everyone of the sacrifices that shaped our freedom.

Through these activities, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at our school not only ignited the spirit of nationalism but also strengthened the sense of belongingness among students, staff, and the community.

Our school is immensely proud to announce that one of our student Miss Samanta Tamang from Class XII (Commerce) has brought great honour to the institution by receiving a State Award today on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day from Chief Minister. This recognition was awarded for securing the Third State Topper position in the CBSE Board Examination 2025. She was also awarded the Class XII Constituency topper at the Independence Day Celebration of 13 Namthang Rateypani Constituency.

Also Miss Jemimah Lepcha from class 10 received an award as a constituency topper in the class 10 CBSE Board Examination 2025 at Independence Day Celebration of 13 Namthang Rateypani Constituency.
This achievement is dedicated to the student’s hard work, determination and academic excellence, as well as the relentless dedication and guidance of our committed teachers. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the awardees.

Our school has been the host of the 79th independence day celebration for the people of Namthang Rateypani constituency and we are proud to inform everyone that our boys and girls have been doing exceptionally well in terms of leadership and performance.
Our school captain Miss Chesang Tamang was the overall parade commander for this year's celebration leading us as well as other schools who participated in the parade competition.

The school would also like to congratulate our parade team for putting up an exceptional performance today and securing 3rd. We would also like to congratulate our NCC Students for always participating in the spirits of Nationalism and always marching just behind our commander, who are then followed by our School contingent.

The disappointment in our students faces even after securing podium finishes shows our level of dedication and winning spirit as we will surely bounce back stronger 💪.

Nevertheless lets keep the spirit of unity and teamwork of our school high .
