The School Family of PM SHRI Bal Krishna Kasaju Govt. SSS Namthang extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Shri Sanjit Kharel and Madam Asha Kharel for their initiative in the beautification of our school compound. Under their guidance and the generous support of Godrej Company, the courtyard paver block pitching is successfully completed.

Previously, the school courtyard would often be waterlogged and muddy during rains, causing inconvenience to the students. With this development, the area has not only become convenient and safe for the students but has also added to the overall beauty of the school premises.

We sincerely thank Shri Sanjit Kharel Sir and Madam Asha Kharel, and the Godrej Company for their generosity and concern towards the welfare of our students. Their thoughtful contribution will be cherished by the school community for years to come.

Interview Report 24/09/2025:
Grooming Session for Class XII Vocational Students

A grooming session was organized at PM SHRI BAL KRISHNA KASAJU Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Namthang, South Sikkim.The session aimed to prepare Class XII vocational students for their upcoming job fair.

The interview was taken by Ms. Yozana Rai (PGT IT) and Ms. Rajshree Chettri (PGT FP), who shared valuable insights on personality development, confidence building, and interview preparation. They emphasized the importance of both technical knowledge and soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability.

The session motivated students to focus on self-improvement and professional grooming, giving them confidence to step into the real world.

Counselling Session by Sibin Learning Cart Pvt. Ltd.
Date: 24th of September 2025

A counselling session on Skill Development Training and Courses was successfully conducted on 24th of September 2025 by Sibin Learning Cart Pvt. Ltd., an approved partner of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The session was facilitated by Mr. Sulab Singh Sir, representing Sibin Learning Cart Pvt. Ltd.

The aim of this session was to create awareness among students about the scope and opportunities in skill development and vocational training. Mr. Singh highlighted the importance of acquiring industry-relevant skills in today’s competitive world and guided the students on how to utilize different training programs to build a strong foundation for their future careers.

The program was further enriched by the gracious presence of Vocational Teachers:

Their encouragement and motivation added great value to the session.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our respected Principal Ma’am, Udshoni Khatiwora, for her constant support and guidance. A special word of thanks goes to Mr. Lakpa Sherap Sir (ICT Teacher) for his valuable assistance and coordination, which made this session smooth and successful.

The students found the counselling session highly informative and inspiring. They gained deeper insights into skill-based learning, career-oriented courses, and the benefits of NSDC-supported training programs. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and actively participate.

Overall, the event was a grand success, leaving the participants motivated, informed, and confident to pursue their future career paths through skill development opportunities.

Heartfulness Relaxation and Meditation Workshop

A three-day Heartfulness Relaxation and Meditation Workshop commenced at PM SHRI Bal Krishna Kasaju Govt. SSS Namthang. On the first day, a special session was conducted in the school auditorium by resource person Madam Junu Rai.

The session was attended by teachers, non-teaching staff, and students, all of whom actively participated. The workshop focused on simple yet effective techniques to calm the body and mind. Participants were guided step by step through a relaxation process followed by meditation, enabling them to experience inner peace, clarity, and improved concentration.

Educational Tour-cum-School Excursion and Nature Study

On 23rd September 2025, the students of Class XII–IT undertook an educational tour-cum-school excursion and nature study to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Buddha Park, Ravangla. The visit provided an enriching opportunity to study technology and nature side by side, enabling the students to explore how innovation and environmental conservation can progress together.
The students actively participated with an open and receptive attitude, showing keen interest in learning, nature study and exploring new ideas. Miss Yozana Rai, IT Faculty, escorted the group and guided them throughout the visit, facilitating meaningful interactions and helping them gain valuable experiences.
This was the students' first integrated experience of technology and nature study, allowing them to understand how to advance with technology while preserving and respecting the environment. The excursion successfully combined academic enrichment, nature study and environmental awareness, making it a memorable and impactful learning experience for all participants.

Lunch Sharing Day

The students of Class VIII organized a Lunch Sharing Day on 22nd September 2025, which was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The main objective of the program was to promote the values of sharing, unity, and cooperation among students. Each student brought a variety of homemade food items and shared them generously with their classmates.
The event was attended by the teachers of the Secondary Section and our respected Principal Ma’am. Their presence added charm to the program, and they enjoyed the wide variety of food prepared by the students. The Principal encouraged everyone by joining the students during lunch, which made the occasion even more memorable.
The Lunch Sharing Day was a delightful success, strengthening bonds of friendship and creating happy memories for both students and teachers. It was truly a day of joy and togetherness.

"Every child is a different kind of flower that altogether makes this world a beautiful garden"

20th september 2025: As a part of SewaPakwada a home visit to lower Kabrey was conducted to the residence of CWSN student under Intellectual Disability Category. The Principal of the school Mrs. Udshoni Khatiwara along with special Educator Mrs. Mona Sharma, two teacher and two student visited the residence.
During the visit the team interacted mainly with the child's grandmother, who is the primary caregiver and learned about his daily routine. The visit was meaningful and strengthes the bond between the school and the family. It was both insightful and impactful by interacting with his grandmother. The team was able to understand the challenges and strength of his home environment. Her dedication, care to her grand child was truly commendable.

Report on Cleanliness Drive
SEWA Pakhwada – Day 2 (18th September 2025)
PM Shri Bal Krishna Kasaju Senior Secondary School, Namthang

As a part of SEWA Pakhwada activities, a cleanliness drive was conducted on 18th September 2025 in and around the school campus of Bal Krishna Kasaju Senior Secondary School, Namthang.

All the teachers and students actively participated in the drive with great enthusiasm. The school premises, classrooms, corridors, playground, and pathways leading to the school were cleaned thoroughly. Weeds were removed, dust and waste materials were collected and disposed of properly. Special attention was given to maintaining hygiene and ensuring a neat and clean environment for learning.

The drive helped in spreading awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and responsibility towards keeping their surroundings clean. The collective effort of the school community created a sense of unity and service.

The program concluded successfully with a message to continue practicing cleanliness as a daily habit both in school and at home.
