J&K Bank Sanctions 40 Cases Under Mission YUVA Udan in Samba District
Samba, July 17:
In a significant move to foster youth entrepreneurship and self-employment, the J&K Bank, in collaboration with District Administration Samba, today sanctioned 40 loan cases under the Mission YUVA Udan initiative. The sanction distribution ceremony was held at Samba and was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sh. Rajesh Sharma (JKAS).
The event witnessed the presence of Mr. Sunit Kumar, Divisional Head and General Manager, J&K Bank; Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Zonal Head; Mr. Sanjay Belowo, Cluster Head; and Mr. Naresh Kumar, Assistant Director Employment, among other bank officials and branch managers.
Deputy Commissioner Samba handed over the sanction letters to the beneficiaries and lauded J&K Bank for facilitating speedy loan disbursement under the scheme. He emphasized the transformative role the Mission YUVA Scheme is playing in empowering the youth of the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Head of J&K Bank highlighted that Samba district currently leads the Union Territory in terms of the highest number of sanctioned cases under the scheme. Beneficiaries were encouraged to utilize the loan amount judiciously and ensure timely repayment.
The Zonal Head J&K Bank proposed the vote of thanks, appreciating the proactive efforts of the District Administration and Employment Department. He reaffirmed J&K Bank’s commitment to sustaining its leadership position in youth-oriented financial inclusion.
The event concluded with an interactive session between the dignitaries and the beneficiaries.
