Overview:
An International Sales Agent in the seafood sector is responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence for seafood products across global markets. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion: Identify and target new international markets for seafood products. Research market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements to tailor strategies for different regions.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with international buyers, distributors, and wholesalers. Negotiate contracts, manage orders, and address any issues that arise to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns to meet sales targets. Analyze sales data to refine tactics and improve performance.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the seafood products offered, including their quality, sourcing, and processing. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including import/export laws, customs procedures, and food safety standards. Manage documentation and certification requirements.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with sales objectives.
Travel and Networking: Travel to international markets to meet clients, attend trade shows, and build networks. Represent the company at industry events and establish a strong presence in key markets.
Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in international sales, preferably within the seafood industry.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of global seafood markets and trade practices.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Educational Background:
