**Christians Are Being Massacred in Syria – And The World Is Silent**
Churches are burning. Priests are being executed. Families are being wiped out. **Syria’s Christians are disappearing, and no one is talking about it.**
# # # The Reality No One Wants to Acknowledge
For centuries, Christians have been a vital part of Syria, making up **10% of the population** before the war. Today, that number has plummeted to **less than 2%** due to persecution, displacement, and targeted violence.
- **ISIS and Al-Nusra systematically targeted Christian villages**, burning churches, executing priests, and forcing conversions under threat of death.
- **Maaloula**, one of the last places where **Jesus' language, Aramaic, is spoken**, was attacked by jihadists. Christians were told: **Convert or die.**
- In 2015, ISIS **kidnapped 230+ Assyrian Christians** from Khabur River villages. They later **executed them on video**—a warning to others who refused to flee.
- In Suqaylabiyah, **Islamist fighters recently burned a Christmas tree in the city square**—a clear message that Christians are not welcome.

The media remains silent. Western governments ignore it. **Why?** Because it doesn’t fit the narrative. The persecution of Christians in the Middle East has been overlooked for decades.
