**BJP National president, Nitin Navin Visits Valmiki Ashram (Dating Back to the Pandava Era) to Seek Blessings from National Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vivek Nath Maharaj**

New Delhi, *June 5: BJP National president Nitin Navin, Delhi State President Harsh Malhotra, New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi Government Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, and Kuljit Singh Chahal visited the ancient Valmiki Ashram—dating back to the Pandava era—located in Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri. They arrived to seek blessings from Lord Valmiki and the Ashram's *Peethadheeshwar* (Head) and National Valmiki Mahamandaleshwar, Swami Vivek Nath Maharaj. On this occasion, the BJP leaders were accorded a grand welcome with ceremonial stoles. A large number of devotees and volunteers associated with the ashram were present.
Notable attendees included Rupesh Mehra; Mahant Guruji Raju Chandel (Head of the Akhil Bharatiya Maharshi Valmiki Sadhu Akhada Parishad); volunteers Chandrapal Chandel, Vijay Valmiki, Manoj Tanwar, and Bhim Singh Dhakolia; renowned filmmaker Sanoz Mishra; and dignitaries including Jyoti Badiwal and Seema Pawar.
To mark World Environment Day, National Leader Nitin Navin and other BJP leaders planted trees at Nehru Park, conveying a message about the importance of environmental conservation.
Speaking to journalists on the occasion, National Valmiki Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vivek Nath Maharaj stated that this ashram has existed since ancient times, with numerous spiritual leaders having served it over the ages. He noted that the ashram originated during the Pandava era; Lord Krishna had visited this very spot—where Lord Valmiki was immersed in deep penance—to invite him to preside over the *Yajna* being performed by the Pandavas. He described the ashram as truly divine and spiritually potent, noting that among all the Valmiki temples in Delhi, this is the only *Siddh Ashram* (a spiritually charged, sanctified abode) where Lord Valmiki himself... He manifested and performed penance; furthermore, Lord Valmiki marked his presence in the Dwapara Yuga by officiating the *Yajna* of the Pandavas. As is well known, the *Ramayana* was composed by Lord Valmiki—the protector of the Sanatan tradition—and it was this very scripture that was presented as evidence in court to secure justice regarding the newly constructed temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. It is thanks to this that the magnificent Ram Temple, which we had long yearned to see, now stands ready before us. In recognition of this, the incumbent government named the airport in Ayodhya after Lord Valmiki. Today, followers of the Sanatan faith everywhere sing the praises of Lord Valmiki, acknowledging that the *Ramayana* composed by him is the authentic epic.
It is worth noting that our National Valmiki Mahamandaleshwar, Swami Vivek Nath Maharaj, is a highly learned and scholarly spiritual leader. He possesses deep knowledge of Lord Valmiki's *Ramayana* across multiple languages and frequently sings melodious hymns in praise of Lord Valmiki. He is a revered spiritual leader of the Valmiki community, and Goddess Saraswati—the embodiment of wisdom and eloquence—always resides upon his tongue.
