WhatsApp will soon officially support iPads and other tablets as a linked device, suggests a new tweet by WABetaInfo. Missing native support by the instant messaging platform for the iPad series and a number of Android tablets was one of its pitfalls. However, it now seems the Facebook-owned company is set to fix this with a future update.

“WhatsApp is finally working on multi-device 2.0, and you can use iPad as a new linked device. Android tablets are also planned to support multi-device on WhatsApp for Android!,” the tweet said.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset – we knew that already from Geek bench results. Now the details listed on the Google Play Console confirm this and make it clear that this isn’t the Plus chip.

The GPC listing also confirms another spec, the 6 GB of RAM. We’ve seen versions with 8 GB, so that will be an option, but it should have been the base capacity – both the Galaxy S20 and the S21 start at 8 GB RAM. In fact, this will be the first Snapdragon 888-powered phone with less than 8 GB.

India's trade with Afghanistan has dried up as borders and banks have closed since the Taliban took over the country, but industry officials said that the disruption was temporary and that it would be business as usual soon.

New Delhi is one of the leading suppliers of essential commodities to Afghanistan, which exports mainly dry fruits to India.

"There is a temporary glitch in trade as Afghanistan is witnessing a transition of power. But within a few days trade will restart," said Rahil Shaikh, managing director of Mumbai-based MEIR Commodities, which exports sugar to Afghanistan.

The US Federal Trade Commission has re-filed its complaint against Facebook, arguing that the company should be broken up and forced to sell Instagram and WhatsApp.

The revised complaint argues that Facebook has a monopoly over social networking in the US and argues that Facebook has looked to make it difficult for other companies to compete.

The case makes reference to an email from Mark Zuckerberg, sent in 2008, in which he said “it is better to buy than compete”.
