Mumbai! We've got something special for you guys next Friday, 14th August!
Dualism Records is hosting Subterra Sessions 001: The first of an event and workshop series that aims to bridge the gap between young music producers and the professional live-electronic space (in India).
I've had the chance to conduct a few production workshops in the past, and loved the experience. The idea behind this is to give me and my fellow artists a chance to sit in the same room with you, answer your questions and share with you what we've learned and experienced over the years; stuff that will hopefully help you take the next step towards becoming the producer or artist you're aiming to be.
Each session will involve a workshop/Q&A session on spreading knowledge and technical know-how within the electronic-music community, followed by a live gig (open to all) featuring some of the freshest and most interesting electronic musicians in the circuit. The workshop at 6:30pm will feature guest panelists Sandunes and Rohan Ramanna (Nicholson/Cotton Press), and from 9:30pm onwards, Paraphoniks, Kumail and Dualist Inquiry will be performing live sets at Blue Frog.
Our aim is to make this a valuable experience through face-to-face interactions with various artists and industry professionals, exposure to their technical knowledge, approaches and philosophies, and through specific discussions that will help address some of the challenges faced by electronic musicians in India today.

There is no need to RSVP for the gig at night, which starts at 9:30pm. Regular club charges apply.
