That’s how Neeraj Yadav described the killing of his grandfather, Jan Suraaj worker Dularchand Yadav, after convoys of JD(U)’s Anant Singh and Jan Suraaj’s Piyush Priyadarshi came face to face on a narrow road in Ghoswari, Mokama.
What began as a campaign standoff soon turned violent exposing the muscle politics that still drive elections in the region.
