Our Story

Pastor B. James is the founder of Hope Assembly of God Church, New Delhi and is married to Ritu. In the age of 17 when God called him for ministry, he left his home town (i.e State of Jammu & Kashmir, INDIA) and came to learn the word of God in capital state of India (i.e New Delhi). With his positive approach and passion for God’s kingdom he enters into AG Central Bible College, New Delhi and earned his Bachelor’s of Theology Degree. After his graduation, he started working for God’s Kingdom in different potentials and areas. He worked among the Collage Students of Himachal Pradesh for one year and then God took him to Southern part of India. He worked in southern India for one year as Evangelist & Youth Pastor. His passion towards ministry took him to different-different states of India. After serving the Lord in southern India for one year, God brought him to New Delhi again in the year of 2011 and that’s where God gave a vision and provision to Pioneer a Church. With a great burden he founded Hope AG Church (initially it was called as Teen Challenge AG Church). Today, Pastor James is involved in several ministries. God has been using him to bring hope to desperate lives. He also serves in Teen Challenge ministries as Director for Projects, where people with life controlling are being given hope and love of Christ. Pastor James also serves as Assistant Presbyter in West Delhi Section Committee of NWDC district of Assemblies of God of North India. With his serving heart, God has been using him marvelously to extend His kingdom in the capital state of India. Our Mission The Hope AG Church is committed to fulfilling a four-fold mission. Its primary reason for being is: 1. Evangelize the lost. 2. Worship God. 3. Disciple believers. 4. Show compassion. Our vision is to be: An Interceding Church – seeking the face of God in prayer to know him intimately, hear him clearly and experience victory. An Innovative Church – Endeavoring to practically and creatively communicate the word of God and demonstrate the love of God serving as a model of 21st century ministry methods while uncompromising the age old message of the gospel. An Integrated Church – A church of many members coming together to form one body, one army, one family united in worship, service and fellowship. An Investing Church –Understanding our God given responsibility to adequately reach and train the next generation thereby investing in the future of the church and pouring out heart to poor giving them comfort of Christ.
