The day I heard his song in collaboration with Nucleya, in "Scene Kya Hai", that gave a blow to his career to a different dimension, still have crystal-clear shade in my head. The one person I connected with after spending night after night searching for his life and music inspired me like crazy!
The none other than the "gully boy" of India, DIVINE is not only an inspiration for me but the thousands of youngsters with the same life who wants to do something. Well, you can so do following this guy's footsteps!
His journey from "Yeh Mera Bombay" to "Meri Gali Mein" exhibits his remarkable journey. He has never failed in surprising the music industry with his incompetent talent and his distinct play with the beats and lyrics.
He came from the gullies of Mumbai and performing today in international ones, isn't that inspiration enough? If still not, watch his upcoming biopic starring Ranveer Singh directed by the famous Zoya Akhtar to know the reasons yourself!

Grown in the western valleys, we have Svetha Rao, a.k.a Raja Kumari, a traditional Indian-American Hip hop rapper who follows her Indian heart in every music video she takes part in. Breaking the shackles of the non-existent Indian culture in the west in those times, she helped in the inauguration of the Brown Renaissance that's happening today.
Playing a role in trying to modernise and bring the Indian culture in the US wasn't as easy as it sounds.
The one who broke the stereotype and let herself loose in the rapping world shows the bilateral side of a woman today.
Her journey from being a part of the crowd looking at the stars to becoming one is all too inspiring.
As a picture speaks a thousand words, this one speaks for thousand strong women out there.
She is the perfect example of "Women can do everything!"
