❇️ विख्यात और मौलिक संगीतकार थे, जिन्हें उनकी जटिल और मधुर धुनों के लिए जाना जाता है।
❇️अपने पिता मुहम्मद अमीर खान से सितार वादन सीखा और बाद में वीणा, बाँसुरी, जलतरंग, वॉयलिन, पियानो, मैंडोलिन, बैंजो, एकॉर्डियन और क्लैरिनेट जैसे 20 से अधिक वाद्ययंत्रों में महारत हासिल की।
❇️उनकी मैंडोलिन वादन शैली अद्वितीय थी, जिसके माध्यम से उन्होंने हिंदुस्तानी शास्त्रीय रागों को चित्रपट संगीत में अनूठे ढंग से पिरोया।
