Hello, Friend Welcome to my Page, Today I am going to talk about kuldhara village, It is the best thing you visit in Jaisalmer. If you are searching Jaisalmer tourist places, kuldhara village could be one of them. In this video, I am talking about the History of kuldhara village . Here is some shorts introduction of Kuldhara -”Most Haunted Village in Asia” Taken from available sources on Internate and the locals of kuldhara

Kuldhara is a deserted village in the Rajasthani district of Jaisalmer. It was formerly a flourishing community inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins, and it was founded during the 13th century. It was abandoned in the early nineteenth century for unknown causes, such as decreasing water supplies, an earthquake, or, according to local mythology, atrocities committed by Jaisalmer State's minister Salim Singh.

Kuldhara gained a reputation as a haunted location through time, and the Rajasthan government chose to develop it as a tourist destination in the 2010s.

Structure

The former village site is roughly 18 kilometres south-west of Jaisalmer. The town was built on an 861 m Γ— 261 m rectangular land that was aligned north-south. The municipality was built around a mother goddess shrine. It featured three longitudinal highways with a number of latitudinal tiny lanes running through them. [1]

On the north and south sides of the site, the ruins of a city wall may be seen. The town's eastern side confronts the little Kakni river's dry-river bed. Back-walls of man-made constructions shielded the western side.

Hello, Friend Welcome to my Page, Today we are going to talk about Tannot Rai Mata Mandir It is the best thing you visit in Jaisalmer. If you are searching Jaisalmer tourist places, tannot Mata temple could be one of them. In this video, I am talking about the History of tanot mata . Here is some shorts introduction of tanot mata temple taken from available sources

The temple's history was mentioned by a temple priest. There was once a man named Mamadia Charan who had no son-daughter,' that is, no child. He made seven trips to Hinglaj Mata on foot in order to obtain a child. When the Hinglaj Mata asked Mamadiya Charan (Gadhvi) whether she wanted a son or a daughter in her dream one night, Charan replied that she should give birth at my residence. Seven daughters and one son were born at that residence by Hinglaj Mata's favor. Aavad Mata, also known as Tanot Mata, was one of them.

In 828 AD, the Bhati Rajput King Tanu Rao built the temple and installed the idol of the reigning deity. For years, the Bhati Rajputs and the residents of Jaisalmer have cherished and venerated the temple.
During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, the Pakistan Army bombed Tanot, resulting in 3,000 bombs being dropped on the temple. The explosives, however, either missed their target or did not explode, according to local legend. After the 1965 conflict, the shrine was handed over to India's Border Security Force (BSF), which was in charge of overseeing and maintaining it.

During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Tanot was attacked again, but this time the invading tanks were stuck in the sand, allowing the Indian Air Force to destroy them. To commemorate the victory in the Battle of Longewala, the Indian Army built a Vijay Stambha (Victory tower) inside the temple courtyard after the 1971 battle.
