The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited bids for the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic mini and micro grid systems across villages in the state, as part of its rural electrification programme targeting remote and underserved regions. The last date to submit the tender is May 28.

According to the bid document, the work is aimed at electrification of villages across Jharkhand, including Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) villages.

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has granted relief to VEH Jayin Renewables Pvt Ltd by restoring connectivity approval for an additional 45 MW solar capacity after condoning a delay in submission of mandatory bank guarantees under the General Network Access (GNA) framework.

Indian solar module manufacturer Vikram Solar Ltd has reported a sharp rise in profit for FY26, helped by strong growth in module sales, improved manufacturing utilisation and higher ex*****on. The West Bengal-based company has now announced the financial results for the financial year 2025-26 and for the last quarter ending March 2026.

Vikram Solar reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue at ₹1,452.8 crore in Q4FY26, up from ₹1,193.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.
