The United Nations has said that after 3 months of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the situation in Gaza has become so bad that this place is no longer habitable.
UN Under-Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths said this on Friday and also warned that there is a danger of starvation in Gaza and an epidemic-like situation may arise there.
Martin Griffiths said, 'People in Gaza are facing the highest levels of food insecurity ever and the risk of starvation looms large. Gaza is no longer habitable.' He said that the number of patients in some partially functional hospitals in Gaza is very high and the supply of medical supplies and medicines has been badly affected.
Let us tell you that in the October 7 attack in Israel, apart from killing about 1200 people, Hamas had kidnapped about 240 people.
Israel has pledged to continue fighting until Hamas is eliminated and removed from power in Gaza and all hostages are freed. Israel has rejected the international appeal for ceasefire, saying that doing so would be considered a victory for Hamas.
