Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi was released on September 19. The film is based on the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

There was a good buzz around its release and it was expected to receive decent response at the box office. However, this biopic has failed big time, performing way below expectations.
Shockingly, the film hasn't even managed to earn โ‚น2 crore in its first five days.

Despite featuring veteran actor , audiences have largely stayed away from theatres. Paresh Rawal plays Mahant Avaidyanath, the spiritual guru of Yogi Adityanath, while Anant Joshi portrays Yogi Adityanath himself.

According to reports, the film was made on a budget of โ‚น15 crore, but in five days it has collected only โ‚น1.53 crore.

In the first weekend, this biopic managed cross โ‚น1 Cr mark. On its fifth day, the film collected only โ‚น16 Lakhs. The total collection after five days is around โ‚น1.5 Cr.

With no chances of revival, the film is set to be a box office disaster.
