Vadodara Police have busted an alleged n**e video-call racket operating from a rented flat in Manjalpur and arrested 10th-pass Manish Padhiyar. Police said women appeared on Stripchat for customers, who paid through an in-app token system, with the earnings allegedly split equally between Padhiyar and the women. Police are examining his bank accounts, phone and the wider network, including other people and customers linked to the operation.

Israel has hardened its position on southern Lebanon, with Defence Minister Israel Katz saying Israeli forces will not withdraw until Hezbollah is disarmed. Katz has ordered the military to prepare for an extended presence, despite US criticism that a permanent deployment could breach commitments under the US-backed Israel-Lebanon framework. Hezbollah, meanwhile, has ruled out discussing its weapons before an Israeli withdrawal, deepening the standoff over the agreement.

Rescue operations are underway after four workers were trapped inside a tunnel in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, following the entry of water and debris. The SDRF team has prepared a makeshift boat using drums to reach the trapped workers and evacuate them safely. Rescue teams are continuing efforts amid difficult conditions.

Tension prevailed in Ambala’s Panjokhra Sahib area as Sikh protesters blocked a highway while demanding an FIR against Gur Simran Singh Mand. Police used barricading and tear gas to control the protesters. After an FIR was registered, protesters demanded the release of detained Sikh youths. Talks failed, following which police used tear gas and lathicharge to clear the highway. Traffic has since been restored, but tension remains in the area.
