Vinu George is a Mumbai-based music creator with over a decade of experience in composing, producing, and mixing music. Skilled in guitar performance, music production, and mix engineering, he has worked across Bollywood films, web series, ad films, and independent projects.

He is the curator and creative mind behind the folk fusion series SOUND OF DIVERSITY – Season 1, a project that blends India’s rich traditional sounds with contemporary energy and reimagines folk music for today’s audience.

As the founder of Bassdrop Records, Vinu collaborates with artists to create fresh and innovative music.

BassDrop Records recording studio facility is looking for a in-house music producer / engineer.

Candidates must be versatile multi-instrumentalist who can create instrumental tracks for our clients (optimally: guitar, bass, piano. Drums would be amazing, but not a must.)- Music and/or audio engineering degree is a plus. Candidates must have interest and understanding of audio engineering, analog consoles, outboard gear and mics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to track vocal & instrumental styles quickly, while editing
- Must be able to mix a variety of styles of music at a professional, radio ready level
- Must have a thorough understanding of signal flow, mic functionality and placement
- Must be able to multitask, work independently and prioritize in order to run a successful session
- Must be a self-starter, take initiative, demonstrate flexibility and possess a strong work ethic as well as great people skills.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be highly computer literate-Logic Pro x, Protools, Studio one specifically

JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

- Session setup and break down
- Capability of Multiple DAW usage
- computer troubleshooting
- computer session editing / tuning / premixing / ...
- assisting engineers
- general studio maintenance
- gear repair

EXPERIENCE:

- professional studio employment or freelance work in professional studios.
