Just want to be thankful for the year gone by. It wasn't my best but it was far from my worst. Achieved quite a few things and others which are still part of the wishlist.

At the end of it all, I think nothing will ever be 'enough'.

But if you have a roof over your head, three straight meals to eat and people who love you, you're there.

Of course there's more to do. But there's even more to be thankful for.

Here's wishing everyone an amazing year ahead. May you get more than whatever you dream of 😊

Being at one of the border outposts on the Indo-Pak border gets the blood running fast.

Prior to 1971 this area (Turtuk and a few other villages) was under Pakistani occupation which was then brought back under Indian control.

Right across from where I stand is the Pakistani outpost wherein both the Indian and Pakistani sides keep an eye on each other through bunkers built into the surrounding mountains.
