Details of Vacancies
1. Chemist cm Lab In-Charge
Number of Posts: 2
Fixed Pay: ₹35,000 per month
Qualifications:
Graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects and more than 3 years of experience in water quality analysis,
OR
Post-graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects and more than 2 years of experience in water quality analysis.
Alternatively, Graduation in Microbiology (preferably), Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology, or Botany with Chemistry as one of the subjects and more than 3 years of experience in water quality analysis,
OR
Post-graduation in the above subjects with Chemistry as one of the subjects and more than 2 years of experience in water quality analysis.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing ISO/IEC 17025 certification.
2. Assistant Chemist (Level-2)
Number of Posts: 1
Fixed Pay: ₹30,000 per month
Qualifications:
Graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects and 3 years of experience in water quality analysis,
OR
Post-graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects and 2 years of experience in water quality analysis.
Alternatively, Graduation or Post-graduation in Microbiology (preferably), Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology, or Botany with Chemistry as one of the subjects and the required experience as above.
Preference will be given to candidates with ISO/IEC 17025 certification.
3. Assistant Chemist (Chemical Section – Level 3)
Number of Posts: 10
Fixed Pay: ₹25,000 per month
Qualifications:
Graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects,
OR
Post-graduation in Chemistry with Biological Science as one of the subjects.
4. Assistant Chemist (Biological Section – Level 3)
Number of Posts: 3
Fixed Pay: ₹25,000 per month
Qualifications:
Graduation in Microbiology (preferably), Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology, or Botany with Chemistry as one of the subjects,
OR
Post-graduation in the same fields with Chemistry as one of the subjects.
5. Lab Attendant / Lab Bearer
Number of Posts: 10
Fixed Pay: ₹20,000 per month
Qualifications:
HSSLC (Science stream) passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
Must have basic computer knowledge.
6. Technical Assistant (GIS / Remote Sensing)
Number of Posts: 2
Fixed Pay: ₹45,000 per month
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in GIS, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, or Geography.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Computer Science, ArcGIS, or QGIS, and have experience in Geospatial Data Analysis.
Must be conversant with current computer applications.
7. Technical Assistant (Hydrologist)
Number of Posts: 1
Fixed Pay: ₹45,000 per month
Qualifications:
M.Tech, Master of Engineering, or M.Sc. in Hydrology.
Must have a degree in Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering with Hydrology as one of the subjects.
Must be conversant with current computer applications.
8. Technical Assistant (Geologist)
Number of Posts: 1
Fixed Pay: ₹45,000 per month
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology.
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or Engineering Geology (including Remote Sensing).
Must be conversant with current computer applications.
9. Coordinator WQM&S
Number of Posts: 1
Fixed Pay: ₹25,000 per month
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Chemistry and at least 2 years of experience in Water Quality Analysis.
Must have knowledge of computer applications.
10. Coordinator IEC (Videographer cm Editor)
Number of Posts: 1
Fixed Pay: ₹25,000 per month
Qualifications:
Degree in Communication or Diploma in Film Making, Media Studies, or Video Editing.
General Instructions
Applicants must be residents of Meghalaya and must have knowledge of Khasi or Garo language.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the written test or interview.
Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents during the interview for verification.
Only degrees or diplomas from recognized universities or institutions will be accepted.
No TA/DA will be provided to candidates attending the interview.
